Family Enrichment programs have existed in Montreal since at least 40 years. Initiated by the Hartley family in 1980, continued by the Waters family in the 2000s, branded Projet Famille, and then Famille Developpement et Éducation Montréal (FDE Montreal) in the 2010s. It joined the IFFD Canada umbrella in 2019.

With activities on the South Shore, downtown and a few on the North Shore of Montreal, IFFD Canada has reached and helped hundreds of couples and their families.
